Our world needs our help. Will you join the effort to restore peace? The basis of my donation page may be nontraditional, but the end goal is just as important as any other. My plan is to spend the summer hiking for hope. I will be embarking on a series of shorter hikes, ranging from half day to weekend hikes, of varied complexities. The world has been a scary place lately and it is up to us to be the change we wish to see in the world. It is up to us to spread peace and love and to fight fear with hope. My heart breaks for any person involved in the recent acts of violence at the hands of terrorists and continues to break for those negatively impacted by natural disasters. My goal is to hike as much as possible this summer to support those impacted. The many challenges I will face during each hike completely fails in comparison to the grief and hardship found by those directly impacted. I will track the mileage for every hike I go on and will be donating all proceeds to The American Red Cross and Boston Police Department.
