Hello! This summer Alex and Hannah are graduating from KU and setting out on a 280+ mile thru-hike of the John Muir Trail (JMT) and the High Sierra Trail (HST), 2 of the premier backpacking trails in the world. We are both beyond excited to start hiking this June!
We've decided to partner with HikeFor to raise money in support of 2 amazing charitable causes that are important to both of us. Together we're sponsoring the Sierra Club, the United States first and foremost environmental conservation and activism group that was actually created by John Muir himself. Our second cause is in support of Mental Health research and support services through the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
Hannah and I are both extremely grateful for the opportunity to go on our hike this summer and feel the least we can do is support 2 deserving causes. If you are in a position to pledge any amount per/mile that would mean so much to us. Thank you! less
