I'm a 63 year old medically retired airline pilot. (auto immune induced limbic encephalitis). I've been married to a wonderful woman for 37 years. Our daughter and son are both married and thriving. My hobbies have included reading, running, motorcycle touring and competitive aerobatics. I've chosen two causes to hike for. First is the Mayfield Education and Research Foundation. Their work is basically to direct funds to research opportunities which look promising, and to educate the public about how people live with neurological challenges. The second cause is the Red Rock Community College Scholarship Fund/Tyler Hagaman scholarship for physicians assistant. Tyler died too young. He has a huge heart and his scholarship is intended to help the best and brightest students in achieving their goal of becoming physicians assistants. less
