Hello! My name is Nicky and I've grown up in the Santa Monica mountains as a hiker, rock climber, slack liner and equestrian. These mountains are my home and the opening of the Backbone trail as a thru hike was very exciting. I'd like to start my thru hike experience in my home mountains and raise more awareness of this beautiful trail. I will be bringing my herd of goats, my dog and my boyfriend, Dean. Once I've completed this round in March I'm going to continue my thru hike journey with my goats and also do a few with my horse. I'm raising money to protect our wildlife and land. I'd love to have sponsors for this hike. You can follow my entire jounrey on my blog.
