After working many stressful years in a career that I found out I don't love, (or even like), I am taking a sabbatical on the Appalachian Trail. My intention is a thru-hike from Georgia to Maine, and I'm hoping my body complies with my mind.
This time will allow me to reflect on the beauty of life...with all its ups and downs, rough terrain and stunning moments that come from hard work and pushing yourself beyond what you thought you could ever do.
This kind of trek is like parenting. As a young dad I had no idea what to expect. The terrain was rough, but seeing my amazing kids Brett & Megan today in their successful adult lives is such an unbelievable feeling - truly worth every single mountain and valley of parenting.
Pregnancy Aid Clinic is a non-profit organization that offers help and hope to young people experiencing reservations connected to the "difficult trek" of becoming parents. Their programs are positive reminders that "you can do it." If you accept the responsibility and challenge of parenting children, trust me it's worth the journey. You just have to take one step after another and keep moving along the path.

The clinic offers comprehensive programs for mothers and fathers to navigate from pregnancy to parenthood with a focus on parenting and life skills. We strive to protect children by strengthening families.
Our services are free thanks to donations, grants, and committed volunteers who work together to create a support system that makes it possible for mothers and families to choose life. less
