Thank you for checking out my hike page ! The wilderness has always been my place of peace and healing. The past year has been a year of victory! Thanks to the prayers and love from my friends and family, no longer to I suffer from any depression, nor am I bound to the addiction of alcohol and drugs. I am free! Through my recovery I've dreamed about thru hiking the Appalachian Trail. Heading north bound from springer mountain to Katahdin ! To reconnect with my true self, find my purpose here on earth. To immerse my self in the beauty that the creator so perfectly created. At a very young age I knew there was much more to life then what we perceive to be true. I simply refuse to give in to the world and its materialistic views. I want to play a part in bringing the words hope and love back to the world. I want to become one with Mother Nature and fight to protect her. less
