Hike Closed - Donation Process Info Enclosed!

Hi all! Well the hike has been closed on this site as complete and I tallied 276 miles hiked :-) The Long Trail is officially 272 miles long but I did count side trails and shelter trails hiked as they were part of the journey.

So, the original contribution maximim you pledged was based on 300 miles, so you have two options. You can donate based on the amount calculated off of the exact mileage of 276, or just use the original amount based off of 300. Consider using the 300 miles amount, as the difference should be small but every dollar counts with charities! You can also donate a little more thank your origional pledge, as someone has already graciously done! :-)

On to the details.

1) You do *not* make the donation through this site. Instead go to:

The above link is to The Trevor Projects donation system. Donations are tax deductible, so save your emailed receipt!

2) Once your email receipt is sent to you, please forward me a copy so I can keep record of the money going out. I think this system will give you some kind of prompt to select when you have made your donation to the charity.

3) REALLY important - so that there is record withThe Trevor Project as to where these funds originated, please type:

in the PARTNER FULL NAME field on the donation form (since there is no in honor of field, strangely).

4) When logged in to hikefor.com using your origional username and password chosen when you pledged, please mark yourself off as paid (you will be prompted upon login).
