Mara and I are have been planning a thru hike on the Appalachian Trail for quite some time. After much preparation and planning, I came to the conclusion that I wanted to do the trip to not only renew my sense of God's wonder and creation but also to help others at the same time. I have decided to raise funds for brain cancer research through the National Brain Tumor Society. It has been almost four years since my mom passed away, and I would be so grateful for any help in finding a cure. I ask for your prayers as we venture on this journey through the Eastern United States. less
