I will be attempting to hike as far as I can, northbound on the Appalachian Trail (AT) starting on April 30, 2019. I have hiked portions of the AT since 2005 and thru-hiking the AT has always been a dream of mine. I am a 43-year-old, divorced man and love the outdoors! I lived off the grid primitively for 8 years in the Missouri Ozarks and am well versed in survival and bushcraft. I will be hiking for the Wounded Warrior Project because I am also a wounded warrior, a veteran of the USAF and USA. less
