Hello Beautiful People! I'm Zach and I plan to start hiking the A.T. early March for the adventure and challenge! I planned this hike to also help raise funds and awareness for Pediatric Cancer Research. My little sister, a cancer survivor of childhood Leukemia, drives me to help raise money in any way I can for pediatric cancer research as it’s WAY underfunded, receiving only 4% of U.S. federal funding.This needs to change! My second cause is the Appalachian Trail Conservancy as they will help preserve and keep the trail safe for hikers like myself and future thru-hikers! You might just find yourself on the beautiful trail one day that is the AT! Thanks and anything helps! less
