I'm Jonathan Guo, I'm 16 years old and currently doing my A levels in London. I was looking to do something worthwhile in my summer holidays and discovered the Adlerweg (Eagle's Way). The trail passes through the entire Tirol region of Austria, through the Alps and is 413km long with a total elevation gain of 31,000m. It should take around 1 month to complete the hike.
I chose to try and support MSF as their work around the world, whether it's curing endemic diseases or saving lives on the frontlines of war torn countries. I also aspire to study medicine in university and MSF was one of the first influences I had which guided me to this choice.
