Hello! My name is Gabriel and I have a burning passion for all things outdoors and adventurous, wildlife (studying Animal Behavior), books, and lastly but certainly not least, Star Wars. Oh, and I also have Tourette's Syndrome. It makes everyday interesting, to say the least. :) I will begin my thru-hike of New Zealand's 'Te Araroa' on October 22nd of 2017. This will by my first big hike, so why not go big?! In all seriousness - animals have more of a right to be here than we humans do. We're terrible for the environment (the ones who have no soul, that is) and I'm willing to do whatever I can to help our furry/scaly/feathery/slimy friends! :) less
