About My Hiking:
I think it is simply in my blood to hike and to be in touch with Nature as often as possible. When I am not hiking, I am busy planning my next trip. I love being outdoors, and find that I get cabin fever quite easily. Being in the wilderness allows me to be spiritually sound.
Me:
I am a Wildlife Biologist who loves all things wild.
Causes I'd like to hike for:
Anything concerning the preservation and conservation of wilderness and wildlife. I would also like to hiker for #TaughtNotTrafficked because I believe education is the key to solving all of our world's problems, both environmental and humanitarian. I also believe we need to empower girls everywhere with education. As a young woman who had to grow up faster than most girls education was so important to me. When I saw the SOLD movie trailer, it reinforced my thoughts importance of education on all fronts of humanity. less
