Listen to your Body

The hike is going well and we are hitting all of our milestones, check points, and goals. The last two weeks I noticed pain in my leg, and well you know me, I kept on pushing. Finally after talking to some folks on the trail and my support team back home, I decided to check-in with the local doctor; glad I did, this was not something that I could just do my normal thing and push through. Turns out I had Tenosynovitis: is the inflammation of the fluid-filled sheath (called the synovium) that surrounds a tendon, typically leading to joint pain, swelling, and stiffness. Tenosynovitis can be either infectious or noninfectious.
After receiving some quick treatment, a nifty tool, following the PT regiment, and some rest, I was back on the trail last Mon. Camo is doing well, if you following us on Facebook there are videos of Camo and I conducting some training for both Camo and I.
Thank you ALL for all of your support, you guys are going to help me reach my goal of giving back to the foundations(Marine Raider Foundation and The National Navy UDT SEAL Museum) that have done so much for us. Other than that, I just wanted to provide you all a quick update, more to come!!
