My name is Sheena, trail name Coach. For the past 6 years, I have had a serious case of wanderlust. To fulfill this desire to explore, I have been traveling as a physical therapist assistant and backpacking regularly. Last year, I hiked from Georgia to Massachusetts, just over 1500 miles on the Appalachian trail. This year, I intend on finishing the journey and, if able to, contributing to a cause greater than I. less
An emotional day for me. I fell several times, got rained on (cold rain I must add), forded a couple rivers, and cried most of the day. My wound was wet all day, and I'm trying to dry it out. Didn't get into camp until 7:30. I'm really missing home today.
