Day 5

North Adams - Mile 71.6 - Jul 4th, 2014

Woke up to pouring rain. Hiked with Outback into North Adams to do a semi resupply and wait for the rain to die down. Recieved some trail magic on the way down ,gatorade (which I've been craving). With no sign of the rain dying down, and the open wound on the bottom of my foot, Outback and I got a motel room to dry out and do laundry. I ate half a pizza and half of a sub, so I was able to eat more. Was hoping to get to Vermont today, but there will be tomorrow. Happy Independence Day!!
