Mile 861

Charlottesville - Mile ??? - Jul 2nd, 2016

Happy Fourth of July weekend, blog followers!
I will be spending the holiday with a friend in Harper's Ferry, taking a significant "yellow blaze" through Shenandoah that I intend to make up in early August.
Since my last entry, I have been recovering from a foot injury that I inflicted on myself while swimming in Dismal Falls. Although the injury itself was not a pleasant experience, it allowed me to slow my pace, spend a few days off the trail working at a wonderful hostel and meet some new friends.
I will return to the trail on Monday and update as often as possible.
